Ask a chopper owner why they polish chrome parts that never affect performance, and you'll get some version of the same answer: because it has to look right. Not for anyone else. For them.
That's not vanity. It's a different kind of love than the one people usually mean when they talk about loving a machine. It's not about what the bike does. It's about what it looks like doing it — chrome catching light across a parking lot, visible from thirty feet before anyone hears the engine.
Why an eagle
Chrome and cruiser culture have always carried a certain iconography — freedom, distance, the open road. An eagle in chrome pulls all of that into one image: something built to be seen from far away, wings out, unmistakable. It's not subtle artwork, and it was never meant to be. Chopper culture isn't subtle either.
This one's for the riders who understand that a bike can be finished mechanically and still not be finished — because the chrome isn't done yet.
